Filled PTFE Products

Because it is highly flexible, PTFE can creep and deform under heavy loads. This potential disadvantage can be obviated by adding a filler in order to benefit from the properties of both materials.

Main Material: Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)

Main Filler:  glass, carbon, graphite, stainless steel, molybdenum disulfide, bronze, and polyimide.

There are many other kinds of fillers like calcium fluoride (CaF2), alumina (Al2O3), wollastonite, Ekonol, Ryton, etc.
